Your Stewards will be running events and activates throughout your stay.

This will include games for all ages and social activities and our Halloween trick or treat tressure hunt.

World Heritage Site with 185 million years of Earth’s history

The Dorset and East Devon Coastal World Heritage Site is England’s only natural World Heritage Site with 185 million years of Earth’s history in 95 miles of coastline.

Take a short three-mile drive from our Holiday Park and you will be exploring the epicentre of it all in Charmouth.

Although some refer to this coastline as a World Heritage Site, many call it the Jurassic Coast. The name comes from the best known of the geological periods found within it, but the site includes rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

Visit the Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre

The Centre provides information on fossils, fossil hunting and the local coastal and marine wildlife. Facilities at the Centre include hands-on displays, marine tanks and a video microscope, all of which can help you to discover more about our stretch of the coastline.You will always find a helpful warden or volunteer who can help you identify your fossil finds. The Centre also has disabled access.Throughout the year they run guided fossil hunting walks and rock pooling walks along the local coastline.
